EC Update 2.3

Course Notes: Pine Creek (second summit on Stage 1): There are a couple of VERY tight corners near the top. If you realize that these are ancient footpaths that were later turned into rouds, they make more sense. BE ALERT on the top half of the climb, going both directions, for drivers and riders. Team and Personal Support drivers on this road will be eaten, we will DQ your riders etc. This is no place to be a tourist, and a great place to do something really responsible and smart!

Death Valley Road has a few sandy spots – I counted FOUR. It also has a bunch of dried mud right at the Start. Pay attention!!

The way to ride through that stuff is just to go straight and STAY OFF THE BRAKES ALREADY! Crashes usually result from folks getting nervous and hitting the brakes. Bad idea.
